General Manager Han Genchang Inspects Philippines Coconut Shell Raw Material Base

Mr. Han Genchang, General Manager of the company, led a three-person team to inspect the company’s raw material base in Leyte Province, the Philippines. The team visited 5 carbonization material production sites, listened carefully to the work report from the local person in charge, and fully affirmed the achievements of the Leyte raw material base.

Leyte Province: Premium Coconut Shell Source

Located in central Philippines, Leyte Province is one of the world’s rare major coconut-producing regions. Near the equator, the area boasts coconut shells with thick walls and dense structures—ideal raw materials for manufacturing high-quality coconut shell activated carbon.

Global Raw Material Layout & Supply Capacity

The company has established 3 raw material bases in total, spanning the Philippines and Indonesia. In the first half of 2010 alone, 2,100 tons of raw materials were imported from the Leyte base, accounting for 48.5% of the company’s total raw material imports.

Strategic Significance for Business Development

This inspection further consolidated the stability of the company’s upstream supply chain. By closely monitoring raw material quality at the source and optimizing cooperation with local production sites, the company ensures consistent supply of high-grade raw materials for its activated carbon production, laying a solid foundation for delivering reliable products to global B2B partners.
